Idea of layering

So this is a possible idea for my poke assignment about myself. I have always had a fascination with layers and the layering of imagery. When I was a modern dancer/choreographer back in high school I would think of the stage as if it was a painting composition. I layered the dancers in space by the different parts of choreography they were doing with each dancer playing a role in the overall composition of the dance. 

I view people in a similar way by understanding that every person has had experiences and passions in their life that are all part of the person they are today. Everyone has stories and their own personal ups and downs that shape the person they become and change into. 

For the assignment I wanted to explore the layering of events and interests from my past and present using photos, graphics and artwork to represent these moments in my life. I would start a separate blog that would feature a new layer every day until it finally built up to one composition. I think this could also translate into building digital collages for other people willing to partake following the template of a layer a day until a final composition is built up.
